WASHINGTON -- Despite growing awareness of organized retail crime, a recent National Retail Federation (NRF) study finds the problem is worsening.
According to NRF's third annual Organized Retail Crime survey, 79% of retailers say their company has been a victim of organized crime within the past year. More than 70% say they have noticed an increase in organized retail crime activity in that time.
