Jul. 4--WATERLOO -- If the Waterloo Bucks did one thing wrong in their 11-run outburst Monday, it was not saving enough offense for the next time around.

A day after setting season-highs for hits and runs, the Bucks found their pop at the plate hard to come by on Tuesday, falling 5-2 to Madison in the finale of the teams' two-game series at Riverfront Stadium.

"When you play every day, you're either on or you're off," said Waterloo first baseman Brent Milleville. "It's tough when you play every day to get out of a funk when you're in it."
