UNTIL this year, I'd only ever been to Israel once, and that was decadesago.
I'm so pleased I returned. That first visit was back in 1972 when I was stillplaying for Manchester United - the Red Devils were in a friendly match againstTel Aviv. There was a bomb at Tel Aviv airport that night and the following dayI remember seeing all the broken glass as we were leaving.
