Article: CHARTER JET OWNER FOUND GUILTY IN SCHEME THAT THREATENED SAFETY OF PASSENGERS AND CREW

PHILADELPHIA, March 2 /PRNewswire/ -- The owner of a passenger jet charter service was found guilty by a jury in Federal Court today of one count of conspiracy and seven counts of making false statements to the Federal Aviation Administration in a scheme that compromised the safety of his planes and their passengers and crews, the U.S. Attorney's Office, Eastern District of Pennsylvania announced.

Earl M. Holtz, 50, of 3419 Bath Pike, Bethlehem, PA, owner and president of Northeast Jet Company, Inc., of Allentown-Bethlehem-Easton (PA) Airport, had his bail revoked and is in custody pending sentencing before U.S. District Judge Stewart Dalzell on May 25, 1995.
