WILSONVILLE, Ore., March 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Tektronix, Inc. (NYSE: TEK) announced today that General Merrill A. McPeak, former chief of staff of the U.S. Air Force and member of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, has been elected to the company's board of directors.
As the senior uniformed Air Force officer, McPeak was responsible for the organization, training and equipage of a combined active duty, Guard, Reserve and civilian force of more than 850,000 people serving at approximately 1,300 locations in the United States and overseas.
