14 athletes to represent India at World Youth Athletics
New Delhi, July 5 (PTI) - A total of 14 competitors will represent India at the fifth IAAF World Youth Athletics Championship to be held in Ostrava, Czech Republic from July 11-15.
The team comprising six boys and eight girls, consists of three athletes from Delhi. They are 800m runner Sahil Mahindra, shot putter Ajay Pal Singh and hammer thrower Ajaj Ahmed.
Kerala also contributes three members while there are two Orissa athletes for the girls' 4x400m relay.
Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, Punjab, Maharashtra and West Bengal have one representative each.
