One of the best all-round vistas of central Switzerland can be found on top of the Rigi. In the fall and winter, one is above the ever-present layer of fog that clouds up the sky. There are hiking trails to be taken through the rugged terrain, easily accessible by cogwheel train from either Arth-Goldau or Vitznau. The trails aren't all that difficult to negotiate and there are plenty of restaurants along the way. Combine this with jazz and swing music and you're all set for a fun weekend with plenty of things to do. ...
