Ever play catch with Homer Bailey at a Reds game? Shoot the breeze with Josh Hamilton in center field? Watch a baseball travel 400 feet off of Adam Dunn's bat and into your hands?
You can go to every Reds home game this year and never have those experiences. But at batting practice, held two hours before each game at Great American Ball Park, they happen all the time.
"Sitting in the seat for nine innings is nothing compared to this," said Terry Vincent, a Louisville native who enjoyed batting practice before Saturday's Reds-Cardinals game.
