Jul. 7--Stacey Arco arrived home from work one day to find that her husband had knocked down nearly all of the interior walls of their fixer-upper.
"I was horrified," she says. "He told me it was easier to see a vision for the place if he didn't have walls."
"I've since discovered a pen and paper," Jason Arco jokes.
The couple bought their Highland Park home in 1994. Jason began knocking down walls soon after, but then, dissatisfied, he started the remodeling process over in 2001.
