Jul. 8--You've no doubt heard of the fabled Texas jackalope, a cross between a jackrabbit and an antelope.
Now Mike Thompson of San Angelo has created The Legendary Texas Jackhorn, a jackrabbit with big ears and the horns of a Texas longhorn. It's a yarn for all ages, but especially for children, who are encouraged to color the illustrations drawn by Burt Calkins.
