A'Marsi Liddell, president of Aims Community College, has been appointed to the American Council on Education's Commission on Women in Higher Education. The commission counsels the ACE on policies affecting women in higher education and advises the council on issues related to equal opportunity and expanded roles for women in academic leadership. Liddell's three-year term of service to the commission began July 1.Liddell was named the fifth president of Aims Community College in 2003. She is the first woman to hold the position.
