Jul. 8--It can be annoying, Justin Morneau admits, and a little disruptive. Whenever Major League Baseball's security officer approaches him before a game and summons him into a private room to collect a drug-test sample, it usually takes awhile for him to comply.

"You don't know about it beforehand, so I usually have to sit in the testing room and drink a lot of water," Morneau said. "So it messes up your whole pregame routine."

He hates changing his schedule. But he wouldn't change the program. "It's worth it," Morneau said, "if it helps people believe in us."
