Jul. 8--Always doing anything she can to help out residents at Golden Palms Retirement and Health Center is just Teresa Quintanilla's way.
Quintanilla's main job is to be a housekeeper, but she comes in early each day to help a couple of the elderly residents with their showers and their hair, she said.
Staff members say she has even been known to take a resident's laundry home with her or go out of her way to perform other extra jobs that just need to be done to make sure residents are comfortable.
Born and raised in La Feria, Quintanilla now lives in Santa Rosa, she said.
