middle east market overviewMENA equity markets continued to turn out mixed performances with an increasing dispersion of returns between the various regional markets. The Saudi market continues to disappoint and its 7% loss for the month has further cemented its position as the worst performing market in 2007. On a more positive note, the best performer of the month was the Kuwaiti market whose 5.6% return has taken year-to-date returns to over 20% making it the best performing market in the MENA region.
