Jul. 9--The level of Lake Texoma, which borders Oklahoma and Texas, appears to have nowhere to go but down.
"If we don't get additional rainfall during the next few days, we will have weathered this one. Then we'll start looking for ways to repair businesses and public-use areas," said Ron Jordan, Lake Texoma manager for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
The lake level was 640.08 feet at 9 p.m. Sunday, one-tenth of a foot above the lake's flood control pool and the height of the lake's spillway at Lake Texoma's Denison Dam.
