Later this month the Coast Guard will finalize a new 43-month contract with Integrated Coast Guard Systems (ICGS) to continue performing systems integration responsibilities under the Deepwater modernization program but will limit task orders awarded to the contractor team to 18 months to better monitor the company's performance, Coast Guard Commandant Adm. Thad Allen said yesterday.
