Jul. 10--MAITLAND Two days after meeting with Bucks free-agent point guard Mo Williams, Heat coach Pat Riley gave mixed signals about Jason Williams' future with the team.
Speaking at halftime of Monday's Heat 88-74 summer-league loss to a similar team of rookies, free agents and young players from the Charlotte Bobcats, Riley confirmed his Saturday meeting with the leading point guard still on the free-agent market.
"He was receptive. We had a great conversation," Riley said of the visit with Mo Williams. "We know what the score is, but we're very interested."
