THERE IS A LINE ON DON Sutton's Hall of Fame plaque stating that Sutton "did not miss a turn in the starting rotation due to injury or illness" during his 23-season major league career. In spite of pitching more than 200 innings in 20 different seasons, Sutton never spent a day on the disabled list.
