Sale of nutritional supplements and cosmetics to be banned in drugstores
Shanghai. July 10. INTERFAX-CHINA - A new regulation that will take effect some time this year, will ban drugstores from selling nutritional supplements and cosmetics alongside pharmaceuticals, state media reported today.
According to the State Food and Drug Administration, only drugstores with cosmetic and nutrition supplement business licenses are permitted to sell health products, which must be located at separate counters from pharmaceutical drugs.
