This case concerned an application by a Health and Social Services Trust for a freeing order under Article 18 of the Adoption (Northern Ireland) Order 1987 in respect of L.
At the initial directions hearing in May 2006 it was directed, inter alia, that 'leave is granted to X to assess the children for the purpose of providing a report' to be filed 'on or before 15 September 2006'.
