PORTUGUESE detectives last night questioned the sole named suspect in theMadeleine McCann abduction investigation for eight hours.
British expat Robert Murat was called in for a further police interview earlieryesterday, almost two months after he was first named as an official 'arguido'- meaning suspect or defendant - in the case.
He was released last night. He had told friends he had been expecting to beinvolved once more because police wanted to go over his statements.
