FRISCO, Texas _ Mark Teixeira didn't hesitate to share his opinions _ and frustrations _ as he talked Wednesday about his last five years with the Rangers.
Teixeira is preparing to return to the lineup Friday for the first time since straining his left quadriceps muscle June 9. He was scheduled to make a rehab assignment for Double-A Frisco on Wednesday night and talked to reporters before batting practice.
He'll rejoin a Rangers club that has gone 16-11 in his absence but remains last in the American League West. The organization's place in the standings doesn't sit well with him.
