WORCESTER - An attempted contract killing for a few thousand dollars, peddling oxycodone and illegally selling a .357-caliber handgun are among allegations detailed in court records against a city man now in federal custody.

Richard A. Keller Jr., who had his 27th birthday yesterday while under the watch of U.S. marshals, is facing a charge in U.S. District Court of being a felon in possession of a firearm.

While Mr. Keller, of 22 Bangor St., faces the sole charge, an affidavit on file in U.S. District Court details a number of alleged criminal dealings by the man who has a lengthy criminal record in state court.
