LEADING Midland brewer Marston's toasted another acquisition today with a pounds 19 million-plus swoop for southern-based Ringwood Brewery Ltd.
The Wolverhampton group, which has expanded its empire in recent years with a number of acquisitions, said it had bought Ringwood for a total consideration of pounds 19.2 million.
Ringwood was established in 1978 and its brands include award-winning beers such as Ringwood Best Bitter, Old Thumper and Fortyniner.
The business supplies approximately 700 customers, predominantly in the South of England.
