So, 070707 came and went and, despite some dire predictions, the world spins on.

However, I will report my luck was not that great as my wallet was stolen, which necessitated canceling credit cards, posting a fraud warning with the credit bureaus and mourning the loss of $212, which is about $200 more than I normally carry. (It was money which hadn't yet been banked.)

I didn't have any checks or deposit slips in the wallet, or my Social Security card either, so that was lucky. And whoever took it threw the parts they didn't want in a community pool not too far from my house, so I did get some things back like my driver's ...
