Jul. 10--DOVER -- There's a common belief that if a restaurant's bathroom is clean, so is the kitchen.
Thanks to the Internet, diners can "virtually" poke their heads into Delaware restaurants' kitchens without stepping foot through the door. State Health and Social Services have posted inspection reports from all of the food-service providers in the state on their Web site. In the past, reports were handwritten and not easily accessible to the public. "(The Web site) makes (businesses) aware the public has another avenue to scrutinize or check up on them as they wish," health department spokesman Jay Lynch said. "It's another tool."
