Jul. 13--He will walk into Citizens Bank Park today as the latest manager to win a World Series, his Hall of Fame credentials cemented, recognized as one of the great baseball minds of our time.
The story never ends there with Tony La Russa. There's always another moral to a story involving this choreographer for the St. Louis Cardinals, but not the kind we celebrate. It usually involves his temper, his stubbornness, his indifference toward others.
