Jul. 13--GREENTOWN -- Bebe Dorris sat at the table overlooking the ring in the livestock barn and smiled.
The smiles not only came from watching the youthful members of the 4-H handling their animals for the last time at the Howard County 4-H Fair Livestock Auction, but from the buyers who donated their purchases to the Kokomo Rescue Mission.
The animals donated will be processed and used for "Beef Up the Mission" -- a program that started in 1990 when the Kokomo Rescue Mission first asked for donations of the meat from the livestock auction.
