CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa, March 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Norand Corporation (Nasdaq: NRND) today announced another in a series of license agreements based on Norand patents in the field of charge coupled device (CCD) bar code reader technology. The latest license was granted to Opticon, Inc. of Orangeburg, New York, a subsidiary of Opto Electronics, Co., Ltd. of Japan. The agreement settles the patent infringement action brought by Norand against Opticon.
