Jul. 14--DECATUR -- The city's Lincoln heritage development director proposes creating a downtown walking tour called Shadows of Lincoln.
The Shadows tour would include bronze statues of Lincoln alongside wayside exhibits throughout downtown Decatur, Kim Bauer said.
Bauer will present his plan at a study session of the Decatur City Council on Monday evening.
The council also will review costs for other proposed Lincoln heritage initiatives.
A bronze statue called "Moshing Lincoln" could be erected near Main Street Bank & Trust, 130 N. Water St.
