Jul. 14--DECATUR -- After 13 years with the United Way of Decatur and Mid-Illinois, Executive Director Melinda Hawbaker will leave July 31 to become finance director for the Community Health Improvement Center.
Her upcoming resignation, along with that of resource director Debbie Bogle, continues a string of staff changes at the United Way that includes the recent promotion of Jill Applebee to community impact director and the hiring of Rhonda Birmingham to replace her as coordinator of First Call for Help.
