Jul. 15--hyphen@@ference lead in World TeamTennis trimmed to a half game Saturday night with a 20-15 road loss to the New York Sportimes.
The night began well for the Buzz (4-3) as Ashley Fisher and Rik de Voest won mixed doubles, 5-2. Ashley Harkleroad got the Sportimes even with a 5-2 victory over Greta Arn in women's singles.
Jesse Witten needed just 19 minutes to complete a 5-1 win over de Voest in men's singles. Witten won nearly 90 percent of his first-serve points.
Arn and Gabriela Navratilova brought the Buzz to within two points with a 5-3 win over Harkleroad and Hana Sromova in women's ...
