Article: NEW WORLD POWER JOINT VENTURE RECEIVES $2.6 MILLION PHOTOVOLTAIC CONTRACT IN ARGENTINA

LIME ROCK, Conn., March 10 /PRNewswire/ -- The New World Power Corporation (Nasdaq-NNM: NWPC) announced today that a $2.6 million contract has been awarded to New World/Solartec, a joint venture company owned by New World Power and Solartec, S.A. Solartec, it should be noted is 51% owned by New World Power. New World/Solartec will install photovoltaic equipment in 183 schools located in a 77,000 square kilometer area in the Santa Fe Province of Argentina.
