IRAN'S FRENZIED ATOMIC energy construction programme backed by the development of a long-range, nuclear-capable delivery system has plunged the Arab Middle East and Turkey into a headlong race to match its capacity. The rulers of the region still talk of atoms for peace and nuclear water-desalination and medicine. But their words belie their escalating investment in ballistic missile technology and satellite-guided targeting.
