TALLAHASSEE, Fla. _ When MaryAnn Kailing's heart started to race uncontrollably, she was convinced that death was imminent.
She bounced from doctor to doctor for several years, searching for a diagnosis for her collection of unexplainable symptoms _ a rapid heartbeat, chest pain, anxiety and fatigue.
``I was experiencing all of these symptoms that were really disrupting my life, and nobody could tell me what was wrong'' says Kailing, 39. ``My heart would start pounding and I would feel like I was going to explode.''
