Usmanov to up stake in Telecominvest after acquiring 15% from NWT
MOSCOW. July 17 (Interfax) - Russian businessman Alisher Usmanov, who is preparing to acquire a 15% stake in Telecominvest from North-West Telecom (NWT) (RTS: SPTL), is interested in further increasing his stake in the holding, Usmanov's press service told Interfax.
"If there is an opportunity, Alisher Usmanov is interested in increasing his stake in Telecominvest," a press service spokesman said.
Usmanov is also interested in buying the share packages of other Telecominvest shareholders - TeliaSonera and First National Holding, the spokesman said. "However, it's still premature ...
