Joelle Chin is lucky. She has lots of animals, including her own horse. She loves all her animals, but what she does with her dog, Treo, and her donkey, Snow White, is special.
Most donkeys are dark gray or brown. Snow White, as you can tell from her name, is a rare white donkey. But when Joelle first got her, she surely wasn't very white.
"She was kind of brownish-yellow because she had been living in a muddy pen," Joelle said. "Nobody ever groomed her or gave her a bath."
Snow White didn't feel good either. She hadn't been getting enough to eat and was too thin. And her feet hurt. Donkeys and horses need their hooves trimmed every few weeks or ...
