TAIPEI, July 20 Asia Pulse - An application filed by a Dutch company to buy out Taiwan's Fu Sheng Machinery Group has been approved by the Investment Commission, the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) reported Thursday.

Cooperative Valiant APO Global U.A., a Dutch operation of Oaktree Capital Management, which is a U.S.-based company operating private equity and venture capital investment funds, has channeled in US$680 million for the buyout of Fu Sheng.

Cooperative Valiant APO Global announced a corporate buyout deal last month to obtain Fu Sheng at a price of NT$37.5 per share, which would cost NT$28.27 billion (US$864.5 million).
