NEW YORK -- Paul R. Charron, the new top gun at Liz Claiborne Inc., wants nothing less than to reinvent the $2.2 billion apparel giant.
"We are going to be gorillas, not tap-dancing ballerinas. I want to break through the walls," said Charron, in a wide-ranging interview here last week.
Although a tap-dancing ballerina might be one singular sensation, his point is well taken.
