LOS ANGELES, March 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Sanwa Bank California said its first-ever ratings that were announced today by both Standard & Poor's and Moody's Investor Service were very positive and clearly establish the bank's strong financial standing.
Standard & Poor's assigned the bank its "A-plus" rating for long- term debt and "A-1" rating for short-term debt. Moody's assigned an "A2" rating for long-term debt and a "P-1" rating for short-term debt.
