Jul. 23--PINEHURST, N.C. -- Jeff Jagodzinski envisioned himself here. Butch Davis did not.
But the men found themselves in the same place on Monday, representing two of the four coaching changes that dominated conversation at the ACC Kickoff.
Jagodzinski, the new head coach at Boston College, served as the Eagles' offensive coordinator from 1997-98 before embarking on an eight-year NFL career. He left Chestnut Hill, though, with a premonition packed into his suitcase.
"We were flying out of Logan (International Airport) and I told my wife, 'Someday, I'm gonna be back here as a head coach,' " Jagodzinski said.
