New Hampshire has passed a law requiring "adequate education" for its schools, though state officials have not yet determined a price tag or how the plan will be implemented.
New Hampshire's General Court passed a bill in late June defining what adequate education means in the state. This came after the state's Supreme Court ordered lawmakers late last year to meet a July 1 deadline to formulate a definition before the legislative year ended. Gov. John Lynch signed the bill into law June 29.
