Francophone Africa has come to realise that relying on one country for its economic well-being is a recipe for disaster. A M Mugabushaka reports on the new moves to diversify, and the focus on Britain.
In order to make contact with the English speaking business world, five Francophone African Cabinet Ministers attended 'Africa Opportunities '95', a business forum set up by Profile International and held at the beginning of February in London to promote British-Francophone African business cooperation. Ministers were accompanied by business men and women who came to London to present their products and to look for business partners.
