Kyra Sedgwick has been a big sensation as the tough-gal TV lead in The Closer, and she's good. But Glenn Close has her beat by a country mile in Damages, premiering tonight at 10 on FX.
Close plays hard-driving lawyer Patty Hewes, scheming, ruthless and glamorous, one of the best power-female roles in TV's history. She makes Shark's James Woods seem like a beginner.
