Streamwood's Summer Celebration is only a week away now, when crowds will descend on Hoosier Grove Park for three days of fun and a celebration of the village's 50th anniversary.
There will be main stage musical acts, children's entertainment, a carnival, craft show, a business expo, golf outing, fireworks and a parade.
This year's theme is "Fifty and Fabulous." Activities will run from 5 to 11 p.m. July 27, noon to 11 p.m. July 28 and noon to 8 p.m. July 29 at 700 W. Irving Park Road.
