Jul. 24--BROWNSTOWN -- Several of the 4-H'ers participating in the Jackson County Fair's poultry judging and showing Monday afternoon already knew what it's like to be a winner -- and the show hadn't even begun.
Trevor Blish, 11, Seymour, was showing poultry for the third year. His poultry ranged from a year to 2 years old. He had 16 entries.
"I am trying to go for two and I'm trying to repeat," Blish said of his hopes for the day. "That's my goal."
Goal achieved. Blish was overall grand champion in poultry last year, and that's what he was this year as well. He had so many ribbons from his 16 entries that his two ...
