TREVOSE, Pa., March 20 /PRNewswire/ -- The Betz Water Management Group, a division of Betz Laboratories, Inc. (NYSE: BTL), announced today that it has signed a technology transfer agreement with Argo Scientific, a reverse osmosis chemical and membrane services supplier. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

The technology transfer establishes Betz as a full-service treatment resource for industrial reverse osmosis systems. It brings together a complete specialty chemical product line to the company's worldwide field force by combining Argo's proven and effective membrane cleaners with Betz' advanced line of AquaMax(TM) deposit control agents.
