You probably recycle at home. More than likely, you also recycle at work. And sometime soon, you'll be able to recycle at the shops that sold you your skis, snowboards, boots, bindings, and poles. When that happens, you'll be able to dispose of worn-out or outgrown equipment without worrying about all that plastic, metal, and wood going to waste in some land fill or incinerator. At least, that's the ultimate goal of Ski Industries America - a nonprofit trade association whose members manufacture and supply skiing and snowboarding products.
