In an effort to reward "good" pay-per-view operations, Warner Bros. will extend its "split windows" buy-rate guarantee offer to two more of its films.

While most operators decry the use of guarantees to secure traditional 30-day windows, several systems - which have lost a significant amount of movie revenues due to the extended windows - have opted to take Warner's deal.

Warner will offer operators an opportunity to distribute The Specialist in April and Love Affair in May, approximately 30-days after their home video releases, said Ed Bleier, president of domestic pay TV, cable and network features for Warner.
