ST. LOUIS _ The words are flying between baseball standout Barry Bonds and broadcaster Bob Costas.
Bonds called Costas "a midget" and Costas said some of Bonds achievements, such as breaking the single-season home run record in 2001 and now being on the verge of shattering the career homer mark, are "inauthentic."
Bonds called Costas "that little midget man who absolutely knows jack (deleted) about baseball, who never played the game before."
Those comments came to a small group of reporters covering him in San Francisco when he was asked about a report Costas had this week on his HBO show, "Costas Now," that addressed Bonds' alleged ...
